BYD Energy Storage has expanded its global after-sales service network across key international markets to support expanding battery installations, following record energy storage system deliveries exceeding 60 GWh across more than 650 projects worldwide in 2025.
The company currently operates nine operation and maintenance centers across China, Chile, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Japan, Poland, and the Middle East, with each facility covering 2,500 square meters. To widen this footprint, additional hubs are scheduled to open in South Africa and Bulgaria in 2027. These facilities oversee spare parts warehousing, regional component distribution, battery repair and maintenance, battery recycling, and structured training programs for newly hired local engineers.
The localized operations are supported by more than 200 field engineers and over 100 research and development specialists adhering to standardized service level agreements. Under these parameters, teams respond to technical requests within 24 hours, arrive on-site within 48 hours, and resolve equipment issues within seven days.
In addition to maintaining a multi-point supply network for rapid component dispatch, the company leverages localized production lines and regional resources to conduct direct battery repairs for global clients.
